Timing

Proposals for theme sessions: 15 April 2018.
Approval theme sessions: 20 April 2018.
Call deadline: Individual abstracts (including papers in sessions) should be submitted by 1 May 2018.
Approval papers: 1 June 2018.

Early bird registration: before 10 August 2018.
Late registration: before 10 September 2018.

Guidelines

for your mail
  • Mail subject line: Languaging Diversity 2018 Conference Paper/Panel/Poster proposal
  • Body of mail
    • Requested format: presentation or poster
    • Title of presentation/poster
    • Author(s) names, corresponding author, institution, e-mail address
    • 4 to 6 Keywords (at least 1 detailing the approach taken)

    • for individual presentations: should not exceed 500 words, including references.
    • for a poster: should not exceed 300 words, not including references.
  • To maximize your chance of being accepted, we strongly invite you to include the items from the following checklist:
    • connection with conference theme
    • quick state of the art
    • objectives and significance of your study
    • contribution and its originality
    • presentation of your data, case study and methodology (especially if your contribution is empirical)
    • (provisional) results
    • discussion and conclusion
  • Brief bibliographical references in APA style 
    • Because your abstract will be submitted to double-blind peer review, it must exclude all references to the author(s).
