Chapter proposals are invited for an edited volume titled Culinary Linguistics: Taste, Language, and Identity in Transcultural Contexts. This volume aims to foreground linguistic, semiotic, and discursive perspectives on culinary contexts. The focus is on how language constructs, mediates, and negotiates meaning in food-related settings, rather than on food as a cultural object in itself. Contributions are expected to address the role of language in shaping identity, multilingual practices, linguistic ideologies, multimodal communication, and sensory meaning-making in culinary environments.
