Can language revitalisation succeed without engaging with the community of speakers or with those who live in the territory where an Indigenous or minoritised language is spoken? What does it mean to build and belong to a community in the digital age? Can communities continue to exist and thrive despite the depopulation of rural, mountain, and peripheral areas? Do communities sometimes work against language revitalisation efforts? And what challenges does inclusion present in creating a more equitable and just linguistic culture?
